We work with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Each provider brings unique experience and areas of focus to support the diverse needs of our community.

Brittney Romero, Office Manager

Alisa Cox, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Equine Specialist

Alisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing mental health services to individuals across the lifespan. She has worked with diverse populations ranging in age from 3 to over 70 while addressing a wide variety of mental health concerns.

Alisa has a particular passion for helping clients heal from trauma. She utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to support individuals in processing difficult experiences, building resilience, and developing effective coping strategies.

Alisa holds the following professional licensure and certifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Minister for Christian Counseling – Ministerial Association of Jesus Christ
• EAGALA Certified Mental Health Professional and Certified Equine Specialist (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, 2017–2023)
• Star Behavioral Health Provider (SBHP) serving veterans, service members, and their families
• TF-CBT Certified (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
• EMDR Trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
• Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD
• Certified in Neurofeedback Treatment

Crysta Shiner, MSW, LCSW

Equine Specialist

Crysta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing therapy to individuals across the lifespan. She has worked with a diverse population of clients, helping people of all ages navigate a wide range of mental health concerns. Crysta is passionate about supporting clients in overcoming challenges and building emotional resilience.

Crysta specializes in trauma-informed care and works closely with clients to process past experiences, manage stress, and develop practical coping strategies. She creates a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their emotions, work through difficulties, and set meaningful personal goals.

Sharyn Hobbs, BS
Counselor

Sharyn is a compassionate counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. She has worked as a counselor, coach, and care manager, providing guidance and support to people navigating challenging life circumstances. Sharyn has a particular focus on working with adolescents during crucial and formative periods, helping them develop coping skills and resilience as they face difficult transitions.

In addition to individual counseling, Sharyn provides marriage, couples, and premarital counseling, helping partners improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen their relationships. She offers a safe and supportive space for couples to explore challenges, develop mutual understanding, and build lasting connection.

With a deep understanding of life’s struggles, Sharyn creates a nurturing environment where clients can explore challenges, gain clarity, and build strategies to move forward. Her approach combines practical counseling techniques with empathy and encouragement, empowering clients to navigate uncertainty and achieve meaningful personal growth.

Sharyn’s experience in ministry enriches her counseling practice, allowing her to offer a faith-informed perspective that inspires hope, healing, and resilience. She is committed to walking alongside each client and couple, helping them identify strengths, process difficult experiences, and create a path toward emotional wellness and fulfilling relationships.
